This Soybean Meal is a flour that is prepared by grinding the solid residue of soybean oil production. Soybean meal is extensively used as a filler, and is a perfect source of protein in animal diets including pig, chicken, cattle, horse, sheep and fish feed. It is mainly prepared from high quality, sound, clean, dehulled yellow beans. Beans having a dark colored seed coat, or a dark hilum will inadvertently leave undesirable dark specks in the flour. All the commercial soybeans available in the US are yellow or yellow brown in color.
