Coir fiber has wide range of utility in making mat, mattress, rope, yarn and in horticulture as a medium to grow crops and to retain water.Basically two types of fiber available white and brown. White is extracted from unripe coconut and generally used for manufacturing yarn and rope and brown fiber is extracted from riped coconut husk and used for making mat, mattress, floor mats, doormats, carpets and brushes.
