Product Overview
Our range of coconut shell activated carbon is a byproduct of activated carbon and is derived from coal, lignite, wood, paddy husk, coir pith, coconut shell, etc. Our coconut shell based activated carbon is considered superior to those made from other sources because of the presence of small macropores structure, which render it more effective for adsorption of gas/ vapour and for removal of colour & odour of compounds. Undergoing steam activation process to create its activated carbon form, our range mainly consists of Micro-pores (diameter in the range of less than 2 nm) and Meso-pores (diameter in the range of 2 a 25 nm). Its unique distribution of pores diameter, makes coconut shell activated carbon very popular in the gas phase purification and potable water purification industries.
