BMW Heavy Duty Disc Ploughs are fitted with Taper Roller Bearings, Forged Steel axles and Bearing Housing for enviable strength. The disc-pitch is adjustable which is most useful for breaking of virgin soil and in soil where scouring is a major problem. In 3 and 4 furrow the number of discs can be reduced when the soil is exceptionally hard and the disc mounting assembly thus removed can be mounted over the frame to provide additional load. The cross-shaft can be reversed end to end. This special feature allows load to be transferred to either of the tractor wheels for better grip or the discs for better penetration. Available with either 2, 3 and 4 Discs of 26" size.
