Our bananas are assessed for the following quality considerations: Appearance The bananas are ensured to be clean, practically free of any visible foreign matter or smell, pests, bruises and abnormal curvature. The stalk is checked to be intact, without bending, fungal damage or desiccations. Uniformity All the packages are uniform and contain only bananas of the same origin, variety and quality. Presentation The bananas are presented in hands and clusters with no more than two missing fingers. The stalk is not torn but cleanly cut, without damage to the neighboring fingers. Packaging The materials used inside the packages are new, clean and of a quality such as to avoid causing any external or internal damage to the produce. Containers The containers are ascertained to meet the quality, hygiene, ventilation and resistance to ensure suitable handling, shipping and preservation of the bananas.
