Triazole fungicides such as tebuconazole, are efficient for controlling most fungal diseases in various crops. These fungicides produce a systemic effect without being absorbed or translocated from the treated plant, avoiding toxicity to other plants growing nearby. Tebuconazole 25.9% EC is used to control many fungal diseases including Botrytis, Sclerotinia and Phytophthora. Tebuconazole 25.9% EC can be used in cereal grains and vetch with a recommendation rate of 100-200mls/ha. Tebuconazole 25.9% EC is used to control diseases associated with rust and mildew fungi on the foliage, fruit and stems of greenhouse crops. It also has clinical activity against Aspergillus fumigatus, Candida albicans, Coccidioides immitis, Fusarium oxysporum var niger, Histoplasma capsulatum, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other mycoses.
