Specification : There are hundreds of types and grades of stainless steels and their properties vary in accordance with use. Some are harder but less malleable; some are resistant to high temperatures but less corrosion resistant. The most common type in use is the 300 series with 304 and 316 used for high quality plant containers for indoor and outdoor use. Both types are resistant to impact damage. 316 is extremely durable and is used in swimming pool environments. All products on this site are 2 mm thick 304 grades with 316 grades as an option.
