In Andhra Pradesh, it is mainly cultivated in the Krishna, Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore, and West Godavari districts. In Telangana it is mainly cultivated in the Mahaboobnagar, Nizamabad, and Warangal. In Karnataka, it is mainly cultivated in the Raichur, Koppal and Bellary districts.
