Cold plate systems can be mounted on the refrigerated body ceiling and/or interior walls. The plates absorb heat and act like your blue ice packs in your picnic cooler during the day. Whereas, at night the compressor/condensing unit is plugged into shore power. Refrigerant passes through the plates refreezing the salt brine/eutectic solution in approximately 8 hours. Cold Plate Refrigerated Truck maintains product temperature while on the truck and during a delivery cycle of up to 12 hours.
