A Fuel injector works in an order to locate the nozzle correctly in the combustion chamber. A nozzle holder or injector is provided which clamps screws into the cylinder head. Inside the Nozzle holder or Injector is a spring and spindle which provides the tension against the needle valve to determining the opening pressure. The spring pressure is often adjustable by an external screw and lock nut or steel shims inserted under the spring. The nozzle is held by screw cap on to a surface-ground face of the holder and an annular groove aligns with a drilling in the holder to supply fuel from the injector pipe through to the nozzle. This is the function of fuel injector and used since last four decades. Now mostly, if we are talking about the diesel engines used in agricultural sectors & in industrial sectors and also called as single cylinder diesel engines like- english petter engines, indian petter engines, (indian petter called now kirloskar engine), lister petter engines, indian lister engines, andoria engines, deutz engines, chinese engines, blackstone engines, ruston engines etc here we are talking about just single cylinder models as mentioned above and lots of not showing their names, the above mention image type injectors are using according to their distinct models.
