Product Overview
Silicone Oils are polydimethylsiloxane oils with average kinematic viscosities ranging from 3 to 10,000 cSt. These Silicone Oils are heat stable & exhibit excellent oxidation resistance, very low vapour pressure and high flash point. The fluids show very little change in physical properties over a wide temperature span - a relatively flat viscosity-temperature slope, and serviceability from -40A C up to 200A C. The fluids have good dielectic properties over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies and a low surface tension - readily wets clean surfaces to impart water repellence and release characteristics. Typical applications includes its use as a mechanical fluid, hydrolic stabilizers, damping media, as release agent, foam preventative, as lubricant or as an insulating fluid.
