SINGLE COMPONENT TILE ADHESIVE Hind Fix TA is ready mix cement based excellent tile adhesive, conforming to IS: 15477-2004.USESFor the permanent fixing of ceramic and mosaic tiles on walls and floors.ADVANTAGES Easy to use, only water to be added Excellent water proofing characteristics. Self-curing. Long working time. Good mechanical strength. Usable on a wide range of surfacesAPPLICATIONAll surfaces should be sound, clean and free from any contamination like grease, oil, loose particles etc. beforeapplication, the surface and tiles should be pre wetted properly. Hind Fix TA is to be mixed with water in theratio of 1: 0.2 parts by weight and stir till a smooth paste is obtained. Allow the paste to stand for 4 to 5 minutesand stir again. Spread the paste on the surface to a uniform thickness of 3 to 4 mm. With a notched trowel toremove any trapped air, place the tiles firmly into position by twisting action. Excess adhesive is to be removedby using damp cloth. Powder should be added to water and not vice versa.COVERAGE5 M2/20 Kg bag at 3mm mortar thickness.MIXINGMix 1 Kg of Hind Fix-TA with 200 ml of water to get a trowel able consistency for fixing tiles. Water can bereduced or increased slightly to achieve desired consistency. PROPERTIESMixed Density 1.65 to 1.75 Kg. / litre.Powder:Water Ratio 1: 0.2SHELF LIFE9 months in unopened condition. The material should be stored under a shed and away from the source of heat.PACKING20 Kg. in poly lined HDPE bags or as required. HANDLING PRECAUTIONHind Fix TA is non-toxic and ingestion is to be avoided. If contact with eyes occur, wash well immediatelywith water and seek medical advice.
