It is a white to tan, granular powder, very soluble in water, on corrosive, on toxic and readily biodegradable (98% after 2 days), sodium gluconate is more and more appreciated as chelating agent. Tech grade Sodium Gluconate is used in preparation of dental care, skin care,cleaners/detergents,agrochemicals, construction chemicals, inks/paints/dyes, metal finishing, paper auxiliaries, photo chemicals, textile auxiliaries, water treatment. Food grade Sodium Gluconate is used in preparations of diet food, herb and spice blends,meat products etc.
