Non-Metallic Floor Hardener is ideal cost effective solution for wear resistant heavy-duty industrial floors and slabs. It is made from special purpose quartz blended with specially formulated abrasion resistance enhancement material. It provides wear & abrasion resistant coat on the surface of new or existing concrete floors. It further imparts skid & slip resistance to the floor. Typical Applications: * Engineering workshops / foundries * Railway platforms / locomotive sheds * Utilities areas e.g. compressor, boiler & DG rooms * Machine tool industries * Garages * Loading bays * Subways * Warehouses incl. agricultural applications * Power stations * Car parks Usage: Non-Metallic Floor Hardener is ideal for concretes of grade M-20 and above. The recommended broadcast quantities are: * Heavy traffic: 7 kg/m2 * Medium traffic: 5 kg/m2 * Light traffic: 3 kg/m2 Broadcast DURONITE-QZ on fresh concrete slabs while the concrete is green but sufficiently set to take applicator weights (ideally able to limit foot impression to 3 mm depth). * Spray 50% of total quantity and hand trowel once the broadcast material has absorbed water from base concrete and become dark. * Apply balance 50% in similar manner at 90 deg to first spray. * Apply power float when surface sheen starts to disappear. This helps close pores & capillaries.
