Application:- Phthalic Anhydride is used in the production of many materials, such as alkyd resins, polyester resins, tires and technical rubber products, plasticizers and dyestuffs. Properties:- Mass fraction of Phthalic Anhydride, %, min : 99,7 Mass fraction of Maleic anhydride, %, max : 0,0600 Mass fraction of ash, %, max : 0,0030 Mass fraction of iron, %, max : 0,0003 Crystallization point, oC, min : 131,0 Hazard Identification And Safety Requirements:- Very hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant), of eye contact (irritant), of ingestion, of inhalation. Hazardous in case of skin contact (corrosive), of eye contact (corrosive). The amount of tissue damage depends on length of contact. Eye contact can result in corneal damage or blindness. Skin contact can produce inflammation and blistering. Inhalation of dust will produce irritation to gastro-intestinal or respiratory tract, characterized by burning, sneezing and coughing. Severe over-exposure can produce lung damage, choking, unconsciousness or death. Inflammation of the eye is characterized by redness watering, and itching. Skin inflammation is characterized by itching, scaling, reddening, or, occasionally, blistering. IMO class 8. Transportation And Packing:- 25 kg bags, no pallet, any transport.
