Main applications include high performance industrial paints by blending with inorganic pigments such as iron oxides red and molybdate red. The transparent type can be used in metal decorative paints. It can also be use in coloring plastics, with heat stability as high as 300a . The Pigment Violet 19 is yellowish in shade and more transparent. Main applications include exterior coating s such as high performance metal decorative printing ink, colorant for laminate plastic film and dope dyeing. It can be blended with PR122 to obtain standard magenta shade.
