DISPERSING AGENT DISPERSING AGENT is a very powerful dispersing agent and hence finds very wide applications in the textile industry. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS Physical Appearance: Brownish liquidIonic nature: AnionicpH of 1 % solution: 6.5 to 7.5Compatibility: Compatible with acids and hard water salts Applications DISPERSING AGENT at a concentration of 0.5 - 2 gpl is generally used in the dye bath for dyeing polyester with or without carriers.DISPERSING AGENT is also used for the dyeing of wool with non levelling type of dyes to retard the dyeing process.DISPERSING AGENT can also be used to improve the wet fastness properties in the case of azoic colours, solubilised vat dyes and vat acid process.A special feature of DISPERSING AGENT is that when it is in the print paste, it does not lead to the spreading of colours. The following recipes are recommended. 0.5 - 2 gpl for dyeing of polyester materials1 - 2 gpl for dyeing of wool1 % on the weight of the printing paste while printing with disperse yarn.For jet dyeing 2 kg per batch and beam dyeing 1 kg per batch are recommended.
