These 10/100M Single Fiber Media Converter of high performance, fulfills bidirectional communication with single fiber. It features high stability, with reliability much higher than that of the transceiver adopting the common external WDM device on the market. Media Converter can interconvert the electric signal of 10/100Basea TX twisted pair and 100Base-FX optical signals. Bidirectional communication achieved through a single fiber boosts the utilization rate of optical network and greatly reduces the number of fibers used. This extends the limit of network transmission range from 100m over copper wire to 80Km (only through one single mode optical fiber).And the newly added function of lightning protection guarantees the safety of equipment.
