Our range of crystalline waterproofing consists of a dry powder compound of Portland cement, fine treated silica and proprietary chemicals. This formulation helps in moisture prevention because when the above mentioned formulation is combined with water and applied on the surface of concrete, the mixture results in a catalytic reaction that forms non-soluble crystalline fibers within the pores and capillary tracts of concrete. Crystalline waterproofing is much better than traditional solvent-based waterproofing on foundation walls. However, the source of condensation or exterior water must be corrected prior to application of crystalline concrete waterproofing. The exterior water usually gets collected through condensation or exterior water source, from inadequate grading, rainwater collection, or poor footing drains.
