The flexural strength of the tempered glass is 3 to 5 times of ordinary glass while the shock strength is its 5to 8 times. The wind pressure resistance of tempered glass is most powerful, which is 1.5to 3 times of ordinary glass and heat shock is its 3 times. Tempered glass is not easy to be broken by shocks. Even though it is broken by crushing load, the debris are of obtuse angle and almost do not harm the human body.
