Our PVC Armoured Power Cables can be customized as per our customers specifications and it can be availed at most reasonable price. Standard: BS5467:1997 with Amendment 1 Conductor: Soft annealed stranded copper wires to BS6360, class 2, concentrically stranded in successive layers, in opposite direction, to form the stranded conductor. Insulation: The conductor are insulated with a layer of extruded XLPE compound. Filling: The assembled cable is filled with a layer of PVC compound in order to fill the interstices between the cores and render the cable round. Armoring: Consists of single layer of galvanized steel wires of appropriate size. Sheathing: An outer protection of extruded PVC compound is applied over the armor. Voltage rating: 600/1000V Operating temperature: 90A C continuous normal operation, 130A C for emergency overload condition and 250A C for short circuit condition Application: For outdoor and indoor installations in damp and wet locations, laid direct in the ground where excessive mechanical stresses are present in sloping and moving terrains and in vertical or inclined laying, as well as in locations susceptible to sliding. Remark: the cable can be of flame retardance, fire resistance and other enhanced features.
