Metco Roof offers the Day Light sheeting in the same profile that is being offered as a Met-Riba to their customers in order to match the profile both for leer flow and aesthetic looks. The advantages of this sheeting , in desired spacing, over the roof and cladding, benefits the consumer by minimizing their costs on power due to allowance of natural day light filtering the dangerous UV rays from sun light. There are two types of material that are mostly used in the day light panels viz; Polycarbonate Sheet & FRP(Fibre Reinforced Plastic). While the former is used for several application including as Day Light Panels, the latter got its approval for its specific and given application. There are several clones which claim to be of FRP and of little use for roof & cladding purpose, since they do not possess the UV protection property which property which is vital for human safety and do not have the strength to withstand the rigorous weather conditions.
