Zanin F.lli has been designing and building Slow continuous cooler for all types of dryers for over 30 years. The procedure, which increases the production of the dryer and reduces energy consumption, relies on the exploitation of the energy contained in the corn. This energy is in the form of substantial heat and the process allows for the removal of two to three points of humidity through tempering. Slow cooling is applied essentially only to corn, even though it is also seen to have been very effective in the process of drying soybean. Any dryer can be equipped with the slow cooling system, in which case it must be adjusted so that the product comes out warm at a temperature of 60A C, with a humidity of 17-18%.
