In many situations, they can replace rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners. These 3M VHB Tapes are made with acrylic foam which is viscoelastic in nature. This gives the foam energy absorbing and stress relaxing properties which provides these tapes with their unique characteristics. The acrylic chemistry provides outstanding durability performance. Application Ideas 3M VHB adhesive Tapes may be used to quickly mount signs. Replaces screws and studs for various permanent sign mounting applications -Attaches to a variety of wall surfaces including metal, -Wood, drywall, concrete and glass (some surface preparation may be needed) -Can be used outdoors and indoors New Clam Shell Packaging: -Individually, reclosable clear plastic container helps to keep roll clean between uses -Shorter roll length for easy handling -Can be hung on a peg board Application Guidelines: It has excellent adhesive and shear strength, and also resists to UV lights and elevated temperatures.
