BT is a hot applied corrosion protection bituminous tape conforming to IS : 10221 Appendix B specification. It comes in two thicknesses: two mm & four mm. The four mm thick PipeWrap - BT is a four ply tape with two inner cores. The top core is of tough 45 gsm fiber glass and the bottom core is of 15 micron high tensile strength HMHDPE. The two mm PipeWrap - BT is a three ply tape without the fiber glass inner core. The specially formulated corrosion resistant bitumen compound provides high softening point, high penetration and high resistance to ageing. The tape comprises of high tensile strength thermofusible HMHDPE Film on both the sides.
