4 Pass Oil Fired Air HeaterThe "Alfa-Therm" Air Heater is compact noise less and fully automatic and any unskilled person can operate it. The Air Heater operates automatically on pre-set temperature.Constructional FeaturesThe main constituents of the "Alfa-Therm" Air Heater is the casing (which is duly insulated with), the combustion chamber fabricated out of stainless steel smoke tubes/membrane, a flue gas outlet, automatic fuel oil/gas fired burner, control panel and a ventilation blower. The ventilation blower fan is fitted at the bottom of the unit and blows air upwards over the combustion chamber and the nest of smoke tubes/membrane. The hot air from the plenum chamber, at the top of the unit, is ducted away to the required places. A flame viewing port with glass is provided on the opposite side of the burner. The dust proof pre-wired powder coated electrical control panel box is located on the Air Heater itself for ease of operation and incorporates the controlling equipment. An air pressure guage is mounted on the unit to check the outlet hot air pressure in mmWC. A fuel oil filter is placed at a conventional near the burner. Ventilation BlowerThe Ventilation Blower is double inlet forward curved centrifugal type, statically and dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 and AMCA 204/3-G2.5 standards. All fans are trim balanced. The bearings are deep grove ball type sealed at both sides. The bearings are self aligning with an eccentric locking collar for clamping onto the shaft. all the bearings are lubricated for life and maintenance free under normal operating conditions. The impeller is specially profiled to obtain maximum efficiency and very low noise level. All dimensional tolerances are fully checked to ensure a precision fit and then coated with an anti corrosion varnish. The blower fan is imported (Sweden / Italy).PulleysTaper lock pulleys are installed on the shaft of the electric motor and the ventilation blower. Taper lock pulleys ensure easy fixing and removal without damaging the shaft. There is no need of hammering or use of pullers to remove the pulley. Taper lock pulleys accommodate shaft limits of + 0.051/-0.127mm. Taper lock pulleys are more than 20 times higher in costs as compared to normal pulleys.ElectricalsThe electricals used are from Larsen & Toubro Ltd and the motor from NGEF/Siemens/Crompton, which are the best available in the country.
