The design of this board is based on VS1053 MP3/WAV decoder chip and a PIC controller to implement USB Host and allow easy control via serial UART. Board plays MP3 or WAV files from USB Flash Drive giving very high quality sound output. The board is controlled from an external microcontroller or PC which sends simple ASCII string telling board what to play.
