A coil is a heating element that is connected to the heating system permanently. The coil is heated by the electric current that the heater produces and passes through it. It can either instantly be immersed in the medium or heated by heat radiation in an open area. Because there is a chance of electrocution, burns, and fires, immersion heaters are hazardous. You must therefore be aware of the safety mechanisms built into the heaters. The handle is one of the elements to look for because immersion heaters might electrocute you. This heater uses a 240 V electric gas coil supply.
